Watching a small online condensate of worldwide TV programs, I stumbled upon a bit of French national news wherein a journalist comments, in French, over footage of flooded NOLA streets. <\/p>\n

At one point, the camera stops on a man laying on the ground, zooms in, and we can hear the following voice-over:<\/p>\n

Voiceover:<\/strong> “… Un homme a terre, qui dans un souffle parvient \u00e0 peine \u00e0 dire \u00e0 une \u00e9quipe de reporters…” [“… a man on the ground, barely manages to tell a team of reporters…”]
\nOffscreen (in English):<\/strong> “Are you alright?”
\nMan on the ground (in English):<\/strong> “I got a kidney stone<\/em>…”
\nVoiceover (allegedly translating from English):<\/strong> “… qu’il est affam\u00e9.” [“… that he is starving<\/em>.”]\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yea… Next time I see somebody with a kidney stone, I’ll just cook them some food, ’cause they must be hungry… <\/p>\n

Could they actually hand their reporters a dictionary before they send them abroad?<\/p>\n

On y voit des sc\u00e8nes film\u00e9es en Louisiane, apr\u00e8s passage de Katrina. Commentaire-bateau sur fond porno-m\u00e9diatique standard… Puis, la cam\u00e9ra s’arr\u00eate et zoom sur un homme au sol, visiblement pas en bonne sant\u00e9, alors que la voix hors-\u00e9cran continue:<\/p>\n
