Apricot liqueur was my first choice but I couldn't find any in the stores so Cherry it is. It will take on the appearance of red wine and is supposed to be very good for the skin. Considering the 35% alcohol content, I think that it will be very good for the spirit too!! I still have over 5 litres of last year’s ume-shu so this year I wanted to make something a little different.
