Spent the afternoon creating new beverages. American Cherry with lemon, rock sugar and white liquor. Also brandy with coffee beans and rock sugar. Both ready in a few months. Who wants to help me drink them?

ooooo, cherry and lemon; that sounds heavenly. Last year’s umeshu is excellent.

*puts up hand*

I still have over 5 litres of last year’s ume-shu so this year I wanted to make something a little different. Apricot liqueur was my first choice but I couldn’t find any in the stores so Cherry it is. It will take on the appearance of red wine and is supposed to be very good for the skin. Considering the 35% alcohol content, I think that it will be very good for the spirit too!!
